McClain Records and Custody Contacts

For a county jail discharge, start with the McClain County Sheriff's Office. Use the detention line for a current status question and the Records Division for a maintained jail-register entry, release instrument, or booking photograph. Written records requests are preferred and may be emailed, mailed, or delivered in person.

Route the question by the custody or record type:

  • For a named released person or the county discharge record, begin with the home search and records path.
  • For community supervision, use the Probation & Parole contacts and ODOC office locator.
  • For a defined same-day period, see the Jail Releases: 24 Hours request method because McClain publishes no release feed.
  • For a forecast or custody alert, compare Projected Release with the VINELink Inmate Search.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use ODOC at 405-425-2500 or its official online records form.

  • For federal prison status use the BOP locator; use ICE's locator only when the facts identify immigration custody.

McClain District Court cases and City of Purcell matters use separate systems. The McClain County Court Clerk can be reached at 405-527-3221. Purcell Municipal Court is at 1515 N. Green Ave., Purcell, with phone 405-527-4616 and hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Purcell Police Records is 405-527-4605. Identify the court that issued the order before requesting a dismissal, bond order, judgment, or other case document.
