Information You Submit
Terms Entered in Search Boxes
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. McClain County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms govern its receipt and use of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. We do not share a message outside the organization unless responding requires a service provider or disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Routine server, security, and analytics systems may record technical details when a page loads. This data helps deliver the pages, measure use, and identify failures. It may include:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser name and version;
- device type and operating system;
- pages visited and approximate time spent;
- the referring website, when supplied; and
- request and event timestamps.
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies may help measure how visitors use the site and support advertising or service functions. Browser controls can block or remove cookies. If cookies are disabled, some search, preference, or partner features may work differently.
Purposes for Using Data
Collected information is used only as reasonably needed to operate and understand the service. Typical purposes include:
- keeping pages available, responsive, and secure;
- sending a search request to the selected partner;
- learning which McClain County topics visitors find useful;
- diagnosing errors, misuse, and technical faults; and
- displaying advertising that may reflect general interests.
Outside Websites and Services
Links may lead to the McClain County sheriff, Oklahoma corrections agencies, court portals, federal locators, public-record sources, or private search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy applies. We do not control its collection, retention, correction, or security practices.
Advertising companies may use their own cookies or identifiers to measure activity and select ads across more than one website. That processing occurs in their systems and is governed by their notices and opt-out tools.
Parties That May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be provided to parties that perform a service or when disclosure is lawfully required:
- search partners that process terms submitted to their tools;
- analytics providers that measure site use;
- advertising networks that deliver or assess ads; and
- law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal demand.
Reasonable Security Measures
We use standard administrative and technical practices intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No website, network, or storage service can be promised as fully secure. Sending information online therefore carries some risk, and this notice does not make a breach-proof guarantee.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request, you may ask to:
- receive a copy of personal information we hold about you;
- correct inaccurate information you previously supplied;
- delete information that need not be retained; or
- opt out of certain processing where that right applies.
